I am also a fully licensed, CAA approved drone pilot and cinematographer. Perfect View Productions has all their own equipment to complete a project.

Drone Operator for Film & Television Production

Kirk Watson is a BAFTA-winning drone operator and aerial cinematographer with over a decade of experience in film and television.

Based in Scotland, he delivers cinematic aerial footage for feature films, documentaries, commercials, tourism campaigns and broadcast productions across the UK and internationally.

He operates the DJI Inspire 3 with X9 camera and prime lenses for high-end cinematic productions, alongside smaller drones including the Mavic 3 Pro Cine and sub-250g platforms for shoots requiring a lighter or more discreet setup.

Two-operator Inspire setups available when productions require dedicated camera operation.

Licensing & Compliance

CAA-approved UK drone operator with additional European permissions and worldwide insurance. Holds Operational Safety Case (OSC) authorisation for complex or high-risk filming, allowing flight closer to people and in restricted environments where required.

Full RAMS, risk assessments and flight planning supplied for productions when required.
