I am a freelance filmmaker, based in Scotland. I can self shoot promotional, documentary, educational and narrative content and edit into a final film. I am also a fully licensed, CAA approved drone pilot and cinematographer. Perfect View Productions has all their own equipment to complete a project.

Drone Filming & Aerial Cinematography in Scotland

Perfect View Productions offers professional drone filming services across Scotland and the UK. Kirk Watson is a BAFTA-winning aerial cinematographer with over a decade of experience in the film and television industry. Based in Scotland, he provides cinematic drone footage for feature films, documentaries, commercials, tourism campaigns, and broadcast productions.

Kirk is a CAA-approved and licensed drone pilot in the UK, with additional European drone licences and worldwide insurance. For complex or high-risk shoots, he also holds an Operational Safety Case (OSC) licence, allowing flight closer to people and at altitudes beyond standard permissions.

I USE A DJI INSPIRE 3 WITH X9 CAMERA AND FIVE PRIME LENSES FOR FILMING

This type of equipment allows for a quick and easy setup on set and its compact size compared to heavy lift drones means it can also be carried to remote areas for filming. Can shoot in 8K or 6K in a range of formats depending on the drone. I also use the Mavic 3 pro CINE and Mini 3 pro drones for different situations.
